Description | New laboratory building at the American Meat Institute Foundation of the University of Chicago will be dedicated today October 3. The building and its equipment are among the most modern and up-to-date in the country. The general purpose of the Foundation is to carry on a broad and comprehensive program of research in the field of the livestock production and the utilization of products thereof. Members of the American Meat Institute who operate plants in every section of the United States made contributions for the building construction. Companies in allied industries made important contributions to the fund for equipping the building with ultra-modern research instruments and devices. |
